Doubleday , 1945. Hardcover. Very Good/Good. 8vo - over 7¾"- 9¾" tall. Partch, Virgil. What appears to be a fairly scarce little book of mid-century humor from the journalist and author Thompson, with an introduction by Robert Benchley and illustrations by Virgil Partch. First edition stated. Very good in red cloth illustrated boards. Pages slightly toned. Jacket is good, with some chipping and tearing to extremities, and a bit of non-archival tape to the inside of the jacket at the head of the spine. In protective mylar.
