NY & London: Neely, (1901). First edition. . Tan cloth, spine and front cover ruled and lettered in dark brown or black. Some dust soiling of cloth, chipping to spine ends, a bit of shelf wear; a very good copy, internally fresh. Smith: American Fiction 1901-1925: J-201. Tibbetts wrote an earlier novel (THE DEPARTMENT CLERK - 1899), and later translated Homer. Both novels are very scarce. This one also concerns Washington politics.
