London, 1870 (Circa). 1st Edition . Very Good Minus. 3.75 x 5.75 inches (9.5 x 14.5 cm). Hand coloured county map backed with canvas. Brown blind stamped cloth covers with paper title label to front cover. Fading to spine, internally spine section is worn. Ex-library with tape residue to covers and label inside front cover. Stamp to reverse of map. No library markings to the front of the map. Crease to upper margin, otherwise very clean. Undated but can be fairly accurately dated from the railways: shows the New Passage railway ferry crossing the River Severn (opened in 1864) but does not show the Clifton Extension Railway (opened in 1874). Map Dimensions are 13.75 x 16.5 inches (34.5 x 41cm). Scarce. Overall condition is Very Good Minus. International postage will be less than the stated rate.
