In publisher's near fine dust jacket, retail price on front flap, a touch of shelf wear, but an overall fine example. Signed on the half-title by John Glenn, his wife Annie Glenn. John Glenn was the first American to orbit the earth in 1962 and returned to space in 1998. He served in the United States Senate from 1974-1999. His wife, Annie Glenn, was a lifelong advocate for people with disabilities and communication disorders. She died in 2020.

Synopsis

John Glenn has spent most of his life in public service, as a distinguished U.S. Senator and a veteran of twenty-three years in the Marine corps, during which time he was awarded numerous medals for his achievements, as well as the NASA Distinguished Service medal and the Congressional Space Medal of Honor. He and his wife of fifty-six years, Annie, have two grown children and two grandchildren. Nick Taylor is the author of seven nonfiction books and collaborated with John Glenn on his memoir. He lives in New York City.
