Maroon cloth covered boards titled in gilt on spine; tissue guarded portrait frontispiece; top edge gilt; deckle edges; 97pp. Mild rubbing to boards; spine cloth sunned a shade lighter, but gilt titling still perfectly legible; slight fray to spine ends; Very Good+. The essay was originally intended to form the "Critical Introduction" to Keats' Collected Poems (1896); this privately-printed separate edition appeared first.
