Landis, an American comedy filmmaker that is best known for the films he has directed. Which include: Kentucky Fried Movie (1977), National Lampoon's Animal House (1978), The Blues Brothers (1980), An American Werewolf in London (1981), Trading Places (1983), Three Amigos (1986), Coming to America (1988), and Beverly Hills Cop III (1994) and for directing Michael Jackson's 'Thriller" (1983) and Black or White (1991). On a sad note Landis, and four other crew members, were charged with involuntary manslaughter, for an incident that happened on July 23, 1982, during the filming of 'The Twilight Zone', actor Vic Morrow and two child actors were killed in an accident involving an out-of-control helicopter.
