What has become a highly collectible, early book on the life and work of the legendary architect, John Lautner (1911-1994) who was known for his mid-century architecture that tested the boundaries of curves and reinforced concrete. Lautner was one of the few architects who studied with Frank Lloyd Wright that created their own, distinctive style, separate from Wright's influence. First Printing. 179 pp. Folio. Light scuffing to dust jacket, 3/4" closed tear at head and foot of rear panel parallel to spine, now in mylar cover. Gold cloth covers with white embossed titling to cover and spine. Clean within. Text in English, German, and French.
