Two volume box set: Vol. 1: In America 1738-1774; Vol. 2: In England 1774-1815. Oversize hardcovers have brown cloth-covered boards with blue cloth-covered spine and gold spine and cover lettering. Black and white plates. Color frontispiece in vol. 1. Bindings tight, but with a very mild lean. Hinges NOT cracked. Spine ends lightly bumped. Pages clean and unmarked. 491 pages, continuous pagination, not including plates. 678 illustrations. No dust jackets, as issued. Blue, paper-covered slip case with black and white paste-on illustration has very light edge and surface wear. international orders will have additional shipping charges.
