Published by the Claredon Press, Oxford, 1933, 1st edition. Blue cloth boards, gilt lettering and decoration to spine and front cover, no dustwrappers. 9.25ins x 6.25ins. Volume one: xxiii, (i), 405pp plus frontis and 70pp plates. Volume two: ix, (i), 404pp plus frontis and 54pp plates. Other illustrations within text and some plates have two images to a page making a total of 160 illustrations including the two frontises. Slight colour fade to spines else VG set.
