London England: Secker & Warburg. Hardback. Very scarce. One of about fifteen advanced copies. With jacket flaps untrimmed, reproducing Boyd's illustration in full in error. The jacket flaps for the bulk of the editions were trimmed to normal size. So it was trimmed in error. Collaboration between artist Arthur Boyd and poet Peter Porter. Verses and illustrations preceded by three pages reproduced from 'The Book of the Prophet Jonah'. 64 ll. in 8s, pp.(1-11)12-126(127)(1p.). Sewn. About 100 dynamic illustrations, in b/w and many of them full page, reflect a range of techniques. Good quality laid paper. Green covers, gilt lettering on spine.
