The offprint has an old waterstain to the front cover that has rippled a few pages, otherwise very good. Laid into this copy is an offprint, DELTA No. 4. Published by Paul Valery University (Montpellier), in 1977. 14pp. Printed sheets, measuring 5 3/4 x 8 1/4 inches staple bound, which prints a review of a section of Foote's 'Jordan Country", specifically the "Pillar of Fire", the pioneer days in the south that tells of Ike Jameson, the first white man in the country, and how his house was burned by Union soldiers in reprisal, during the Civil War. This offprint is signed by Foote on the rear cover in black ink.
