This book is in good shape.(Please see pictures) Almost every early California history mentions Limantour's fraudulent land claims; this book contains details extracted by the author from four large volumes of transcript of the decision in 1858 by Ogden Hoffman, judge of the federal court in San Francisco, denying Limantour's claim to most of San Francisco, Alcatraz, Yerba Buena and the Farallones.
