Pictorial end papers. From the private library of Larry Southwick, collector's marginalia pencilled at inner edge of half-title page. 8, lxxviii, 79, 24, 6, [2] pp. Octavo, 7 x 10 1/4 inches tall. Originally issued in 1929 as The journal of Duncan M'Gillivray of the North West Company at Fort George on the Saskatchewan, 1794-5, with introduction, notes and appendix by Arthur S. Morton. The introduction gives a sketch of the development of the fur trade, with special reference to the Saskatchewan River. An appendix traces the later history of Fort George and of M'Gillivray.
