And written by a Citizen who continued all the while in London. Now newly Introduced to the Public by James Sutherland, of London & Berkshire, and Embellished with notable Illustrations by Signor Gnoli, of Rome. For A Journal of the Plague Year, Domenico Gnoli created eighth full-page paintings, each of them dominated by a somber, plaque-ridden tone--chartreuse, mulberry, olive, purple-- that captures the horror and madness of that terrible period. The Heritage Press, The George Macy Companies, Inc. N.Y. , 1968. With SANDGLASS. Book Near Fine, Slip Case Better than Very Good, one small spot top of spine.
