Privately Printed at the Chiswick Press, no date [1860]. First edition (hardback). 8vo (24cm by 15cm), [v], 110pp. 8 tinted plates (one of which is double-page), 2 folding maps, text engravings. Original blue cloth, gilt titling to the front board. The binding is a little rubbed and chafed, and there is some foxing of the preliminary pages; overall, this book is in good condition. Inscribed on the half-title page "Charles Barker from the author, 1861".
