Author set out, avoiding roads as much as possible, to walk all of Britain from Land's End north to Duncansby Head. Book was first published in Britain By Constable & Co. in 1968. Map by David Eccles verso Dedication p. XVI chapters, 171 pp. plus List of 22 duotoned Illustrations. Book has very slight corner wear. Plain tan paper covered slipcase has some very small dots on front panel, ow it is as new.Certainly a very notable hike! Bookseller's Inventory # 231540.
