A specially-created presentation copy using one of the paper-bound copies published in 1932 and consigning a local bookbinder to create this special copy with decorative boards, quarter leather spine with 5 raised bands, gilt topedges, an attached cloth bookmark and decorative endpapers. Top and bottom paper edges show some wear.
A French Government piece of stationery attached to the inside front endpaper with a presentation of this book from Monsieur Jean Paul Sugar of the French Consul to Anna Cartwell upon her 1935 Graduation.
The recipient has signed her name on one of the blank front endapers as well.
