Pantheon Books, 1962. First Edition. Hardcover. Very good/Good. xix, 94 p. 25 cm. B&w illustrations. Black cloth in mylar-covered dustjacket. Tears and chips to edges of jacket, esp. upper spine, with rubbing to panels. Book itself has a little discolouration to rear board.

Foreword by Timothy Leary and Richard Alpert of Harvard University Psychology Department, at the time of the books publication involved in Harvard's Center for Research in Personality. A classic account of the psychedelic experience, the text is an exploration of the insight that the consciousness-changing drugs LSD, mescaline, and psilocybin can have on the human psyche.
