First edition, 8vo, xvi, 474 pp. Photographic portrait frontispiece of the Author and 115 photographic plates, some occasional light foxing, particularly to the frontispiece tissue, with the author's signature tipped in on the half title. Original gilt titled blue cloth, very mild rubbing to extremities, otherwise very good. Captain of Sussex CCC & a regular member of the England side, Ranjitsinhji "...popularized India with the British public which knew him as perhaps the greatest cricketer of his generation" (DNB).
