Leather over cloth boards; substantial wear to the leather, including boards exposed at the bottom edges of both volumes. Volume 1 with rear hinge partly opening. Pencil notations on front endpapers of Volume 1. Both volumes with moderate foxing throughout. Marvellously illustrated with many engravings. NOTE: because of these volume's heavy weight, extra charges may be requested for shipping and handling.
