Precedes Horse Show Hurdles about a girl named Tam and her sister Cynnie. In this one, Tam meets the black horse Merlin and helps him get over his fear of jumping. Many things happen before summer's end - including the thrill of competing and the fear of Tam losing the horse she loves. Great illustrations by Paul Brown throughout (including some of the mischievous Irish Terrier, Riot!). Illus. by Brown, Paul. 8vo - over 7¾ - 9¾" tall. 1st Edition. Hardcover. Good/Near Very Good.
