This two volume, boxed set is the 2nd printing of the First Edition. It is a wonderful collection of Grimm's fairy tales that were selected by Lore Segal and Maurice Sendak and translated by Segal and author Randall Jarrell. All illustrations are done by the incomparable Maurice Sendak. The bindings are in excellent condition and there are no internal markings. Hinges are tight and pages clean and bright. The dust jackets are in Very Good + shape with some bumps and chips to edges, a tiny red marker dot on one of the covers and some staining on the inside of the rear jacket on one volume.
All proceeds benefit The Friends of the San Anselmo Library. No expedited shipping outside of the United States.
