Lavishly illustrated with naval architectural renderings; photo reproductions; drawings, etc. White cloth with Chinese characters stamped on front cover, gilt and red stamped lettering and design on spine. In a slightly faded dust jacket. George Raleigh Gray Worcester (b. 1890; d. 1969) participated in the production of this volume, which was composed from four of his works (edited down from them), now rare, which were published in the 1940s while he served as River Inspector with the Chinese Maritime Customs Service.
