Original printed wrappers; pp. iv, 98, [4, list of publications printed on blue-green paper], three plates in photogravure with 12 photographic illustrations, large folding map in colour-lithography (490 x 550 mm); wrappers with minor flaws and faint stamp with number in ink on the front; internally remarkably fresh and clean. Very rare first edition of the results of the geological survey of Kakheti, now a region of Eastern Georgia, reknown for its wine and of the Tsiv-Gombori mountain range. This publication, issue 69 of the new series of Trudy geologicheskago komiteta (Works of the Geological Committee), is illustrated with photos of rock and landscape formations.
