Minor edge and corner wear to the dj, lightly scuffed and scratched, gently shelf worn, corners are lightly bumped and rubbed, overall a clean used first edition (stated). 95 very clean unmarked and uncreased historical pages! Light blue cloth with dark blue lettering on the front cover and spine. Dj is nicely preserved in a brand new protective mylar plastic cover! Wonderfully well preserved! "In this short biography Miss Baumann has written the story of Kagawa's life of service, thrilling in its singleness of purpose. A son of the Samurai, Kagawa nevertheless gave up a life of comfort and went to live in Shinkawa, the slum district of Kobe. Here he took the starving and the beggars to live with him, sharing with them his own scanty food.". First Edition / First Printing. Blue Cloth. Good+/Good+. 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall.
