Boston: New York Graphic Society, 1974. 442 pages. Authorized biography by the poet's cousin and namesake and his wife. Illustrated with contemporary black and white photographs and illustrations of Gibran's own works, some of them published for the first time. Frontispiece is a 1911 self portrait with the likeness of Mary Haskell in the background. Illustration on the dedication page was drawn by Kahlil Gibran for an issue of As-Sayeh. Pages white, tight and clean. Grey endpapers with no markings. Red cloth with black titles on front and on spine. Maroon dust jacket with black photographs on upper and lower covers. DJ shows very light wear on corners and edges. DJ price clipped. FINE/VG. 1st Edition. Hard Cover. Fine/Very Good.
