About This Item
Paterson Brokensha, 1961, 4to 41p, Pictorial Soft Cover. This is the story of the Kalamunda District told by a man who loved the area and was part of its history. This first edition is dedicated to the early settlers with a special recognition of the women who helped forge the future. Profits from this first edition were gifted to the Silver Chain Bush Nursing Association. The book has slight yellowing of the spine and the rear top corner of the cover is creased and the bottom corner is slightly bumped. Other than that it is near fine condition. Some related historical ephemera is loosely inserted. A very scarce book that to the best of my knowledge is not available anywhere else.
