NY: D. Appleton-Century Company. VG. 1947. 1st Edition. Hardcover. First edition bound in green cloth with black lettering and design. Ma p endpapers. A Very Good copy in a Good dust jacket. The book has rubs to the corners and spine tips. Tiny bumps to the lower corners. The f ront fly leaf has off-set tanning from the inner jacket flap else cont ents are fine. The dust jacket is chipped along the head and heel of i ts spine. Chipping to its corners. Heavy tanning to the jacket's spine and tanning to the panels. Illustrated by Thornton Oakley. .
