About This Item
Frederick Warne & Co. Ltd, 1921. 1st Edition. Hardcover. NF/VG+. 1st Edition, 1st Impression. 25.2 x 31.5cm, yellow cloth spine with green cloth boards gilt and black stamped titles to the front and black titles to the spine, green endpapers, uncut edges, 11pp, black and white photographic frontispiece and 20 tipped in coloured images printed on heavy hand-made paper, together with original dust jacket. A near fine book with bright clean boards and only a hint of rubbing to the corners. Internally, the book is without names inscriptions or bookplates and only a small book seller's ticket on the front paste down. The dust jacket is in very good condition considering its age with one 6cm closed tear extending from the top of the spine around onto the front board and a smaller one of under 1cm to the top edge of the rear panel. There is a little marking and some light rubbing to the corners. It is now in a removable clear jacket (not shown) and presents very well. All in all, a very beautifully produced book in its original jacket. Rainford & Parris Books welcomes enquiries, so please do not hesitate to ask if you require further images or have any questions. All books are packaged with great care.
