New York, New York, U.S.A.: Golden Press, 1960. 1st Edition . Hardcover. Good/No Jacket. Plummer, William. Book #2 in the vintage girls' series featuring young nurse Kathy Martin. In 188 pages, with duotone illustrations by William Plummer throughout. With matte decorative paper over boards, no DJ as issued (these editions never came with them). A First Edition from 1960 (unknown printing), this hardcover book is in solidly Good condition: generally clean with expected light soil/darkening to outside page edges. Binding strong & straight, but a little shaken, & front hinge is torn from bottom edge up 2". Pages show moderate tanning, heavier around edges, commensurate with age & paper quality. Former owner's name in pen on title page & old gift inscription in pencil opposite dated 1962, else unmarked.
