Kingston, Ontario: Queen's University, Kingston, 1939. 1st edition. Hardcover. pp. 141.,4to,,,This is a contemporary copy of the original thesis submitted by Elise M. Berry (the sister of the late classics scholar, Prof. Edmund Berry), for the degree of Master of Arts at Queen's University, Kingston. It consists of a bound carbon copy of 141 typed pages (8 1/2' x 11'), with text on one side only (blank verso). The buckram binding is typical of thesis binding for the time, and is in quite good condition, although the front inner binding tape is partially loose (not affecting integrity of contents).
