Crisp, clean pages except for a thin band of reddish smudging along the left margin of the title page and two short, black felt-tip marks on the heel edge of the page block; no other owners' or use marks; the full red cloth cover shows three small abrasions to the yellow lettering at right front, as well as a small inward turn at the bottom left rear corner, otherwise excellent. 296pp.; b/w + color illus. incl. foldout.; 4to.
