Battle Creek, MI: W H Kellogg. An very appealing pamphlet filled with animals in human clothes at various happy activities, especially eating Kellogg's Corn Flakes which were patented only 2 years earlier in 1907. This movable picture book was THE FIRST PREMIUM EVER OFFERED WITH A BREAKFAST CEREAL, patented in 1907. The colorful wraps are in 3 panels, the third of which folds in. The 2nd page is cut horizontally into sections so that you can mix and match bits of animals and clothes. When the 3rd folded-in panel is opened another sliced page appears. Rear has a charming ad for Kellogg's corn flake. Text is in rhymed couplets. Front and rear covers have slight soil and light rubbing to the edges & a couple of small creases, otherwise very decent. Highly collectible. OUT OF PRINT. . Very Good. Paperback. First Edition. First Printing. 1909.
