Lebanon, Pa: Committee der Evangelische Conferenz, 1846. Hardcover. Very Good. 144 p.; 13 cm. Contemporary full spotted calf with five spine compartments between gilt rules. Black leather label in second compartment with gilt-tooled title. Inscribed on blank leaf following front free endpaper: "Present to Miss Leah Achenbach as a token of respect by a Friend. Orwigsburg Sept. 6th 1852." The Foreward (Vorrede) by the author is dated "Libanon, März 15, 1836." Very scarce. In Very Good Condition: leather is rubbed; light foxing and browning; a few page corners creased; clean and tight.
