First edition. With dust jacket. Green cloth boards with gilt titles on spine. 34 colour plates and numerous b&w illustrations. Inscription by Sir Ghillean Prance (former director of the Royal Botanic Gardens at Kew) on front free endpaper.
Dust jacket shows mild edgewear. Boards clean; slight crushing at foot of spine; small bump on top edge of front cover. Pages clean apart from minor spotting on top edge of text block. Binding firm.
