About This Item
Boston: Little Brown & Co, 1936. Boxing novel with underworld intrigue and a bit of romance. Bumped and rubbed with wear and fraying at the edges. End papers foxed. Jacket has been trimmed and laminated to a stiff paper backing in an old style edged protector with the flaps glued to the pastedowns. The entire rear panel, lower edge of the spine and front are covered with a label for "Joe's Bookshop & Library of Albany, NY," partially covering the title on the front. The jacket has yellowed from the glue, the laminate is peeling at the rear spine fold and spine head. "July 17, 1936" stamped on the lower front flap. Size: 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall. First Edition.. Hard Cover. Good/Fair.
