A Very Good, original blue cloth binding with gilt lettering on spine, binding intact, starting and partially cracked hinges, bit of sunning to spine, some handling/scuffing to boards, two creases to buckram mid front board, some rubbing along board edges, small abrasions to board corners, bit of age toning to pages, some scattered foxing to text block edges and front/back matters, W.H. Smith & Co. embossed stamp and couple of faint pencil ownership names on front free endpaper, pencil number on margin of page 2 at hinge, without Dust wrapper. In a Very Good, custom clamshell case with some handling/scuffing and slight discoloration but sturdy.
