About This Item
[New York]: Bernard Geis Associates. Very Good+ in Very Good+ dj. (c.1961). First Edition. Hardcover. (price-clipped) [a good solid copy, only minor shelfwear, but with horizontal stain lines along bottom edges of covers, pastedowns, and endpapers (residue from an old jacket protector, now removed and replaced with a new mylar cover); the jacket itself is nice and clean, with an original vintage publisher's price sticker on the front panel, downgraded from Near Fine only because of the price-clipping]. (cartoon illustrations) INSCRIBED and SIGNED by the author on the front endpaper: "For _______ / All the best! / Art Linkletter." Linkletter's second compilation of funny/outrageous quotes from little kids, largely derived from the popular feature on his "House Party" TV show -- in which, as he reports in his Foreword, the kids "seem to have been working with special zest to supply me with funny material," probably spurred on by the success of his first book. Illustrated (as was the first "Dardnest Things" book) by "Peanuts" creator Charles Schulz. Signed by Author .

We are dedicated to the first-class treatment of every book we sell and its new owner (our customer). All orders and inquiries receive our prompt, personal attention. Your book will be shipped promptly, well-wrapped and securely packaged; the dust jacket, if any, will be enclosed in a new Brodart cover.
