Exceptionally rare in good unpricedclipped illustrated jacket of a tiger coming out of the brush. Tape reinforcment to jacket at corners and ttop & bottom of spine. Two inch repaired (with archive tape) at bottom of front panel of jacket near spine. Overall EXCELLENT condition with GOOD minus jacket. Attilio Gatti was an Italian explorer, author and film-maker who travelled extensively through Africa in the first half of the 20th century. Known in documentary circles for his film Siliva the Zulu (1927).. First American Edition. Hard Cover. Near Fine/Good. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. Hardcover.
