Small spots of wear-through to corner tips. Binding is tight and square, hinges are sound, no cracking. Pages and edges are clean with red top-stained upper page edges. Small tasteful previous owner bookplate on front pastedown; small previous owner name and date neatly penned on front free endpaper. Nice frontispiece photo portrait of Mannock (with tissue guard). Illustrated with many additional glossy black and white photographs. Errata slip beetween pp. 126 and 127. 303 pages with index..
