About This Item

N. Y.: Puffin/Penguin, 1953. Mass market paperback has creases to front corners, 3" tear to front along front cover at top of spine. Former owner's name is blackened out on front inside cover. Illustrator Lotte Reiniger used black paper cut outs to make her wonderful "wood-cut like" illustrations. Wonderful coloured illustration on front of book is delightful. Although this book is not in great condition the text is complete and secure and unmarked. The illustrations are well worth the owning of this edition.. Mass Market Paperback. Fair. Illus. by Lotte Reiniger.
