Fine in a very good dust wrapper. <p>Limited edition of 1,000 copies, printed by Penelope Reid and Michael McCurdy with typography by McCurdy.<p>Inscribed by McCurdy on the half-title: "This copy of [title] For ..... ..... with best wishes. / Michael McCurdy / Dec. 1980".<p>A translation of short stories in Old Norse Icelandic of encounters between the fiercely independent Icelanders, Vikings formerly from Norway, and the dominating Norwegian monarch King Harald Sigurdsson the Tyrant who ruled from 1047 to 1066, when he was defeated by King Harold Godwinsson of England.<p>Laid in is a folded Penmaen Press catalog.
