The "Kings of the Oceans" series is a complete listing of all Hellenic-owned ships built at world shipyards from World War Two until the year 2003. This volume, which covers 1948 through 1956, features 268 ocean-going vessels that were delivered into Greek management during the period. Includes the statistical history of each ship, including the builder, owner, gross tonnage, etc. Dual Greek and English text with hundreds of black and white photos. Hb, no dw, apparently as issued, scratch marks to rear cover and tiny chip to rear edge of spine, upper rear corner bumped, otherwise virtually as new. Note - this is a very heavy book, additional postage may be requested. .
