Cassell And Company Ltd, 1931. Hardcover. Acceptable. 1931. Reprint. 380 pages. No dust jacket. Decorated black cloth. Pages are moderately tanned and foxed throughout. Cracking to gutters of a few pages with exposed binding. Occasional thumb-marking present. Faint black scuffed marking to a few pages, text is not affected. Slight cracking to hinges. Text-block is slightly loose from binding. Boards have moderate edge wear with bumping to corners and rubbing to surfaces. Crushing to spine ends with small splits and fraying to cloth. Splits along spine joints, causing spine strip to be slightly loose. Notable tanning to spine and edges. Scuffing and water staining to surfaces. Book has a slight forward lean.
