This title was originally endorsed and sponsored by the Japanese government and issued to University of Tokyo students to study geography. Each volume of the series was a different subject and geographic area of study. * The current volume covers Japan, with folding appendage map of Japan. Also covers the world in general, shows the movements of the sun, moon and earth; the two hemispheres, Illustrated with several maps and globes. Shows the Americas and Europe. Universe astronomy, volcano, geography of the earth. * Contains 20 b.w. maps & illustrations. * REFERENCES: Not in: Toda, Brown, Sorimachi, Edgren, Dawes, N.D.L. * .
