Mount Vernon: Peter Pauper Press. Very Good+. N.D.. Hardcover. Beautiful color illustrations and blue page decoration by noted designer and artist, Vera Bock. The binding has a black cloth spine with gilt lettering over a red and gilt background (slight rubbing to the red background) over blue decorated paper covered boards also by Vera Bock. A portion of one line in the preface has highlighting, else this is a nice clean, tight and unmarked book with no interior or exterior markings, no owner names and no bookplates. There is a gray slipcase with a color pastedown--the slipcase is worn but serviceable. There is not date, but probably about ; Color Illustrations; 8vo, 8"- 9" tall; 230 pages .
