About This Item
Chatto & Windus, 1960. 1st edition. Hardcover. Fine green cloth with gilt spine lettering, extremely clean pages with no marks at all, in a very near fine dustjacket, not price-clipped, tiny nick on one corner, very slight grazing in places, a few small rubs on rear. An unusually attractive example of the first impression of the author's first novel, set in London in the late 1950s.
