Publisher's faux wood-grained boards with black spine and upper panel lettering, octavo, pp. xiv, 219. INSCRIBED warmly by the author to previous owner on the half-title page. Endpaper maps. Illustrated with the author's color and black and white photographs and chapter-head vignettes. Phonetic Glossary of Maya words with English equivalents. The aging laminate-like material used for the binding was not of the sturdiest nature and is chipping at crown of spine and here & there on edges. This copy wanting the dust jacket.
