[3], ii, [3], 300-364, [1], 46-76, [1], 406-432, [5], 14-40, [3], 156-220[3], 372-400 pp. Three-quarter black leather over brown pebbled cloth with gold lettering on the spine. Bound by John C. Moore of Rochester, New York. Illustrated with thirteen plates, about half of which are in color. Also with a colorful engraved title-page. Portions of the ladies magazine are bound here from the year 1852. The list of illustrations call for 24 plates, thirteen are present in this bound volume, which does not contain all of the stories included in the index. The plates are bright and attractive. The magazine includes various short stories written by Helen Irving, Asahel Abott, Evelina Morris, Rule Ruby, etc. Several clergymen have also contributed to the stories in this volume. Rubbing to the boards' edges, free rear endpaper largely torn away, a few discreet pencil paginations written on the versos of the plates.
