About This Item

UK: Thriller Book Club, 1950. Hardcover. Very Good/Good. 12mo - over 6¾ - 7¾" tall. Published by the Thriller Book Club in association with Collins. Red cloth-covered boards, black titles to spine, in a period pictorial dust jacket (cloth mildly soiled, sunned on spine, in a chipped and creased dust jacket with minor loss at head and heel of spine, small scar on front, some discolouration on rear, and price change label which appears original). Internally neat and clean barring some mild page toning). The Thriller Book Club was one of several book clubs established by the famous London Booksellers, Foyles, in the 1930s and 1940s. It issued quality contemporary fiction from both new and established authors in the club's genre.
